My favorite BSB song—and yes I enjoy some Backstreet Boys from time to time.

Hard to improve on a classic but the sultry voices of Boyz II Men did it.

12. “My Lovin’ (You’re Never Gonna Get It)” – En Vogue (1992)

Man—that vocal breakdown near the end of the tune is worth Top 20 inclusion alone.

So very passionate and earnest.

9. “Lovefool” – The Cardigans (1996)

An ear-worm of their ever was one. Hard not to think of Jim’s shenanigans in The Office when hearing this one now.

8. “Wide Open Spaces” – The Dixie Chicks (1998)

A must on road-trips to And from Texas.

7. “Killing Me Softly” – Fugees (1996)

Groovy and chill.

6. “I Don’t Want To Wait” – Paula Cole (1997)

Pop perfection.

5. “Hard to Say I’m Sorry” – Az Yet (Feat. Peter Cetera) (1996)

Already a favorite 80s song AZ Yet gives it a r&b vocal makeover and I’m about it.

4. “Anytime” – Brian McKnight (1997)

He’s the king of r&b in this decade for a reason in my estimation.

3. “It’s So Hard To Say Goodbye to Yesterday” – Boyz II Men (1991)

Another terrific sing-a-long tune of which they have many. This is my favorite.

2. “Please Forgive Me” – David Gray (1998)

Almost my #1 this track gets lodged in my head for hours after hearing it.

1. “The River of Dreams” – Billy Joel (1993)

Certainly a more 70s/80s artist I’ve always dig this song for some reason, though I can’t remember where or when I first heard it.
